New oneworld Southern Hemisphere Round The World Ticket

oneworld have launched an exciting new round the world ticket, allowing travel solely in the southern hemisphere. The first of its kind using the oneworld alliance.

The new route is available thanks to the launch of LATAM Airlines’ new Sao Paulo, Brazil to Johannesburg, South Africa service.

The new service means it is now possible to link around the world, without leaving the southern hemisphere. Qantas links Johannesburg with Sydney and its extensive Australasian network. Both Qantas and LATAM link Sydney with Santiago (with an option to stop in New Zealand) and once in Santiago you have access to LATAM’s unrivalled South America network.

Together Qantas and LATAM reach close to 70 destinations in Australia and the South Pacific, around 120 in South America and nearly 50 in Africa.

The new 3 continent fare starts at $3,299 for economy and $10,499 for business class, plus applicable taxes, and travel from Australia is available in a westward or eastward direction.
