Inside The Singapore Airlines Suites
We took a look around inside the new Singapore Airlines A380 Suites on a recent flight from Sydney to Singapore.
The new suites are the ultimate in luxury plane travel, with a private, enclosed space for each passenger. The upstairs level of Singapore’s new A380 is dedicated to the suites with 6 individual cabins taking up the whole deck.
Inside each cabin is a leather arm chair that can swivel to face different directions to in the cabin. The chair rotates and reclines with the controls found tucked into the arm of the chair.
The Singapore Suites include a separate bed which the flight attendant will make up for you upon request. The bed is over 2 metres long and 0.7 metres wide from top to bottom, providing one of the most spacious and comfortable beds in the sky. the bed can be adjusted with the top raised to allow for a seated/reclined position also.
Inside each Cabin, the entertainment screen is a very generous 23 inch screen with 1,000 movies, TV Shows and music to choose from, plus the option to connect your own devices.
Inside your private suite, you’ll also find a console to hold your personal belongings along with a mirror, Bose noise cancelling headphones and a tablet, to control your entertainment, communicate with airline staff.
A large table folds down from the wall to be used for meals and as a workspace.
The Suites feature a door, that can be closed to enclose your suite, providing privacy.
On the outside of the door is a display panel to communicate requests to airline staff, and on the inside of the Suites wall is a storage closet.
Also located on the upper deck is the bathrooms exclusively for the use of Suites passengers, which includes a dressing area and vanity console.
