Lufthansa Trial Airport Robot

Lufthansa and Munich Airport are trialling a robot to assist passengers with queries and directions.

‘Josie Pepper’, a humanoid robot with artificial intelligence and the ability to look you in the eye, will welcome passengers to the non-public area of Terminal 2 at Munich Airport and will provide directions to gates, restaurants, or shops.

Josie will await passengers at the top of the ramp leading to the shuttle connections in Terminal 2 for the next few weeks while the airline and airport trial the robot.
