New Finnair Round the World Routes Available with Flights to Canada

Exciting news for Finnair Round the World travellers- the airline has just announced it will begin flights to Toronto, Canada. Flights will begin from 4 May 2026 and will see three weekly trips. After an 11-year hiatus, Finnair will return to Toronto, providing Round the World travellers with further options when visiting North America. 

Finnair offers RTW routes in Economy, Premium Economy and Business Class. It punches well above their weight within the industry, with excellent route offerings. The cabins are modern and high quality, plus the airline offers unrivalled connections in Europe, North America and Asia. New Finnair Round the World Routes and Product

The seasonal route will become the only direct connection between Finland and Canada. Therefore, providing Finnair Round the World travellers with another North America stopover option. Fly West from Australia – Asia – Europe – North America to experience this new route between Helsinki and Toronto. After travelling from Helsinki to Toronto, you’ll have connections back to Australia from Vancouver, Dallas, NYC and LA with Finnair’s partner airlines. Finnair will operate three weekly flights to the city next summer on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. Flights will depart Helsinki at 16:50 and arrive in Toronto at 18:35. The returning flight from Toronto will leave at 23:40 and arrive the following day in Helsinki at 14:45.  

In addition to Toronto, Finnair will fly next summer to New York, Dallas, Los Angeles, Chicago and Seattle. This just opens up an even broader range of connections into the United States for Finnair Round the World travellers.

This route will be flown onboard the Airbus A330 aircraft. The Finnair Business Class AirLounge seat is an innovative, yet controversial, product. The airline sees the new route to appeal to both Finnair Round the World travellers and business guests, with growing demand for further connections to North America.
