The Route
Qantas has reinforced its commitment to the region by offering this convenient gateway to the vibrant Philippine capital.
Travellers wanting to see more in one trip will now get additional options to Asia, and more specifically Manilla, with our Qantas RTW fare or a oneworld RTW fare.
The first flight departed from Brisbane on Monday evening and will continue to operate four times a week. Guests flying Round the World will be able to fly the route on a Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday at 7.15pm.
Now adding more than 100,000 seats between Australia and the Philippines each year, there is more capacity for Round the World passengers wanting to visit the tropical destination. Qantas already flies daily services to Manilla from Sydney, meaning this addition will just strengthen the airline’s presence in the market.
Keep in mind that when flying home you may want to book an extra night in your hotel, as the Manilla to Brisbane flight departs at 2.45am and arrives at 12.20pm.

“The Philippines is a very strong market for Qantas and we are pleased to be responding to demand for our services with new flights from Brisbane,” Wallace says.
“We know a lot of customers travel to Manila via Sydney, so this new direct flight will make it easier and faster for Queenslanders to get to the Philippines in a single hop.”
