The Route

The Melbourne route marks a completely new destination for Finnair and connects Australia directly to Finnair’s extensive network via Finnair’s Helsinki hub, opening up more possibilities for RTW flights.

Flights leave from Melbourne in the afternoon, with a stop in Bangkok in the evening, and land in Helsinki early the next day, aligning with Finnair’s first morning departures across Europe. Besides smooth connections for customers, this structure ensures high operational efficiency and good utilisation of Finnair’s A350 fleet.

The return flight is scheduled to depart from Helsinki shortly after midnight, arriving in Bangkok in the afternoon with a brief stop, then continuing to Melbourne and arriving the following morning.

In between, add in a stop in North America and you will have a complete Finnair RTW fare! There is a myriad of choice with Finnair, simply contact our airfare specialists to help combine these fares in the best way possible.

Flights will be available to book from 18 December 2025, with the first flight expected to depart on 25 October 2026. Make sure you get in contact with one of our airfare specialists who can book your Finnair Business Class RTW fare.
