American Express Centurion Las Vegas Lounge
Recently while travelling in the United States we checked into The AMEX Centurion Lounge in Las Vegas Airport before starting our journey back to Australia via LAX with Delta (read our review of the Delta Sky Club LAX Lounge here)
The spacious and welcoming lounge is split into multiple zones including a bar area and Kids zone. As well as chairs and tables set up for groups and more private seating areas for solo travellers. Power points and high-speed internet are readily available throughout the lounge so you are always connected. The Centurion Lounge also features a fully functional office zone with computers and a printer available to use.
In the dining area tables can be booked and reserved for you before you arrive at the lounge, which if you were planning on dinning or staying a while in the lounge it is a good idea to book ahead to ensure you get a table.
There was a range of both hot and cold dining options available from a self-serve buffet, including hot pasta dishes and build your own salad.
Unlike the AMEX Lounge in Sydney (read our review here) the AMEX Centurion Lounge did not have barista coffee, but a coffee station in the middle of the lounge.
From the fully serviced bar, you can order or favourite cocktail or choose from one of the specials including Blue Door, made with Johnnie Walker Black Label or if you prefer the wine list includes handpicked premium wines from all over the world.
The spacious and welcoming lounge also features shower suites, flat-screen TVs and local newspapers to make sure everything you need is taken care of. The Centurion lounge is open from 5am to 11pm daily and is located directly opposite gate D1 after security.
