What are the benefits of Hawaiian joining oneworld?

“We are thrilled to join this extended ‘ohana, or family of the world’s best airlines,“ said CEO of Hawaiian Airlines, Diana Birkett Rakow.

From their hub at Daniel K. Inouye International Airport in Honolulu, Hawaiian Airlines currently serves 26 destinations around the world. Including oneworld hubs in Los Angeles, New York, Seattle, Sydney, and Tokyo. This partnership will further strengthen oneworld’s global network and presence across the Pacific region. It will also unlock greater travel opportunities across the Hawaiian Islands as well as brand new destinations. This will ensure a more seamless experience for travellers, as it will enhance the connectivity to/from the islands of Hawaii.

“We are delighted to officially welcome Hawaiian Airlines into the oneworld family, further strengthening our alliance’s footprint in the Pacific region and the United States,” said CEO of oneworld, Ole Orvér.

Moving forward, travellers with Hawaiian Airlines will enjoy access to almost 1,000 global destinations across the alliance network. Top tier passengers will also gain access to oneworld priority benefits – such as First Class check-in, lounges, and fast-track security lanes at selected airports, regardless of cabin class.

“Renowned for its award-winning service for almost 100 years, Hawaiian Airlines will make travel to the beautiful islands of Hawai‘i more connected and rewarding for oneworld customers, delivering an elevated journey that brings the spirit of aloha to our alliance,” added Orvér
