Singapore
Arrive from Brisbane with Qantas and start off your dream round the world trip with a weekend stopover in Singapore. There is something for everyone in Singapore, taste the delights of an amazing food scene from the hawker centres to fine dining, shop to your heart’s content with multiple malls featuring one of a kind pieces, or take in some culture and history at one of the many art galleries or Museums.

Budapest
After a weekend stopover in Singapore, this itinerary travels to Budapest with transit in Frankfurt with Lufthansa. Arrive in Budapest ready to explore the city which has it all, castles, palaces, parks, the iconic thermal baths and some of the best Art Nouveau architecture in Europe. Sitting on the banks of the Danube River there isn’t a bad time to visit, enjoy riverside picnics in the summer or marvel at the city in winter.

South America
With hundreds of floats and dancers, the Carnival is the best time to see Brazil with the whole country out celebrating. The Festival starts the week before Ash Wednesday with smaller parades throughout the week leading up to the main parade. Purchasing a ticket to view the parade is the best way to see all of the colour and dancing, but after all of the official events the party spills out onto the streets and in every corner of the city people celebrate.
Rio is also a great place to start exploring the rest of South America, after Carnival travel with LATAM across to Santiago, Chile. Impressive views of the Andes, modern architecture, bustling markets are just some of the reasons to visit Santiago. The delightful Mediterranean climate means that there is no bad time to visit this vibrant city.
