Lufthansa JFK Business Class Lounge

While travelling through New York’s JFK airport recently we stopped into the Lufthansa Business Class Lounge, and after the chaos of security, the quiet lounge was a welcome respite. The lounge which is located just after security is extremely peaceful and once the doors close behind you, you feel instantly relaxed.

The lounge is relatively small compared to some other business class lounges but this does not mean that it is lacking in anything with different rooms and zones to cater for your every need including entertainment and relaxation rooms.

The lounge is mostly made up of the dining and lounge area with ample seating options looking out onto the tarmac. There are power points throughout the lounge, however they can be difficult to spot and you need to choose your seat strategically if you nee one close by. Along one side of the lounge is a work bar that has about five ports to plug your device into, you can sit an work at bar stools here.

A range of hot and cold dining options are available including light sandwiches, pasta, a chicken dish, a range of salads as well as a selection of cheese cakes, lollies and bar snacks. The meal options really cover all bases depending on what you need before your flight. Although there isn’t a full bar in the lounge, the self serve options provide everything you need including tap beer, a range of wines and spirt options.

While there are no screens in the lounge there are announcements for Lufthansa and partner flights which keeps the added noise to a minimum as well as keeping you informed on your flight.

Overall the Lufthansa Business Class lounge is the perfect spot to unwind before your flight with everything you need to make sure you are ready for take off.
