Cathay Pacificnews

Cathay Pacific has relieved an all-new Boeing 777 ‘Aria’ Business Class suite. Aiming to debut the Boeing 777-300ER mid 2024, Cathay Pacific have given a glimpse into some of their new design features. Being a oneworld member, it is likely we will see this product available on round the world flights in the future.

You’ll find a sliding privacy door, wireless device charging capabilities, 4K in-flight entertainment screen with Bluetooth audio and extended wings for enhanced privacy even with the door open. These extended ‘wings’ are designed to ensure a degree of privacy, no matter if the passenger is working, in do not disturb mode or just relaxing. Additional storage will also be offered, with a drawer available under the wide shelf, giving extra storage for personal items. We will finally see the cabin feature gentle curves and woodgrain-like surfaces.

The Oneworld member is steadily rebuilding its Australia presence, with Perth also marked for a flight increase from December 6, taking its three weekly flights to five weekly. In addition to boosted flights between Hong Kong and the West Australian capital, they have also flagged an aircraft change, switching from the Airbus to the Boeing 777. Being a member of oneworld, we will see an increase in round the world availability due to this upgrade.

Elsewhere in Australia, Cathay Pacific currently has 19 flights per week to Sydney and 16 per week to Melbourne, with both of these primed for an increase from the end of this year.
